    Wednesday, Aug. 21Revive @ 5 takes place from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays in the summer at Lookout Point in downtown Pocatello. There will be live music, food, cold beverages and fun for the entire family.

    Load ‘em in the Dark Cattle Company’s regular Wednesday night team roping from 6 to 10 p.m. in the Indoor Arena at the Bannock County Event Center in Pocatello. Admission is free.

    Kane Brown and Dylan Schneider will be performing at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, at the Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel in Fort Hall. Tickets start at $99 and can be purchased at shobangaming.yapsody.com.

    Air Supply will perform live at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, at the Portneuf Health Trust Amphitheatre in Pocatello. Tickets can be purchased at bannockcountyeventcenter.us or at the box office before the show. Ticket prices range from $50 to $175 depending on seat selection. Gates open at 7 p.m.

    Layne Bowen will perform live starting at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, at First National Bar, 232 W. Center St in Pocatello.

    Thursday, Aug. 22The Grapevine, 466 S. Fifth Ave. in Pocatello, will host Wine at the ‘Vine with Micah from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22.

    The Yellowstone Restaurant, 230 W. Bonneville St. in Pocatello, hosts live jazz featuring Freddy Gildersleeve and rotating guests every Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Y Lounge.

    The Junebugs will perform live for the Live United Concert Series at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, at The Waterfront at Snake River Landing in Idaho Falls.

    Station Square, 200 S. Main St. in Pocatello, hosts open mic night every Thursday from 7 to 10 p.m.

    The Idahoan: Open Deck Night is set for 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, at The Gem, 216 First St. in Idaho Falls.

    Midland will perform live at 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, at the Portneuf Health Trust Amphitheatre in Pocatello. Tickets can be purchased at bannockcountyeventcenter.us or at the box office before the show. Ticket prices range from $23.25 to $75 depending on seat selection. Gates open at 7 p.m.

    Austin English and Josh Langston will perform live starting at 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, at First National Bar, 232 W. Center St in Pocatello.

    Thursday-Saturday, Aug. 22-24“Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” will be shown at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Aug. 22-23, and at 4 and 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, at ISU’s Bengal Theater. Admission is free for ISU students, $2 for ISU employees and $3 for the public.

    Friday, Aug. 23The Pocatello-Chubbuck Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Chamber Appreciation BBQ from 11:30 to 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, at the chamber offices, 324 S. Main St. in Pocatello. Intermountain Gas and Simplot will be serving up burgers, hot dogs and fries.

    First National Bar, 232 W. Center St in Pocatello, will host its annual Luau Party starting at 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23.

    Saturday, Aug. 24The Dash For Down Syndrome fundraiser race will be held at 8:45 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, at Pier View Drive in Idaho Falls. For tickets, go to tinyurl.com/5n7d52k9.

    The Portneuf Valley Farmers Market will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday through October at Lookout Point in downtown Pocatello.

    The Blackfoot Farmers Market will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday through October at 1800 E. Airport Road in Blackfoot.

    The city of Ammon will host Splash Day for Dogs at the McCowin Park pool from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 24. The dogs get the last dip in the pool before it’s closed for the year. Admission is free, but donations are accepted for pool upkeep.

    The city of Pocatello is looking for volunteers for this year’s Portneuf River Cleanup, which will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 24. Volunteers will help clean up trash and debris from the banks and main channel of the Portneuf River. Volunteers are asked to meet at Pacific Recycling Trailhead on North Main Street just off Kraft Road.

    The Crafter’s Market at Station Square, 200 S. Main St. in Pocatello, will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24.

    The Steven D. Merrell Marine Corps League will hold its annual potluck picnic from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, at the Jensen’s Grove Amphitheater in Blackfoot. MCL associate members, FMF corpsmen, chaplains and families are invited to attend. Attendees are asked to bring a beverage and potluck dish to share. The league will provide burgers, hot dogs, buns, condiments and paper supplies.

    Pocatello Grocery Outlet, 1732 Hurley Drive in Pocatello, will host a free adult beverage wine tasting from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24.

    The annual Watershed Guardians Beaver Dam Jam Idaho will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, at Lookout Point, 426 W Lewis St., in Historic Downtown Pocatello. Billed as “a music event to help keep your watershed vibrant by protecting beaver,” the jam will feature four bands, food, raffles, kids’ activities, demonstrations, vendors and organizations.     The acclaimed movie “Hard Miles” plays at 4 and 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, at ISU’s Bengal Theater. Based on a true story, a social worker at a youth facility assembles an unlikely cycling team of juvenile convicts for a transformative 1,000-mile bike ride from Denver to the Grand Canyon. Admission is free for ISU students, $2 for ISU employees and $3 for the public.

    Monday, Aug. 26The Pocatello Food Truck Round-Up is open from 4 to 8 p.m. every Monday at Lookout Point through September.

    Wanderlust Craft Beer Taproom & Wine Bar, 1799 Hurley Drive, Suite A, in Pocatello, will host a Singles Mingle Night from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26. Come enjoy a beverage of your choice and hang out. Everyone is welcome.
