    One injured in two-vehicle crash near Pine Ridge Mall in Chubbuck

    CHUBBUCK — One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash this week near the Pine Ridge Mall.

    The wreck occurred around 12:45 p.m. Tuesday at one of the mall’s entrances on Yellowstone Avenue and involved a Jeep and Chevy pickup truck.

    An adult male occupant of one of the vehicles suffered injuries in the crash and was rushed via Pocatello Fire Department ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center.

    His name hasn’t been released but he’s expected to survive.

    The wreck temporarily shut down Yellowstone and the mall entrance where the crash occurred.

    Both vehicles suffered significant damage in the collision.

    Further details on the crash haven’t been released.

    Chubbuck police and firefighters also responded to the accident.

    The wreck remains under investigation by Chubbuck police.

    With all the crashes in Idaho I’ve been hearing about, it sounds like everyone needs to go back to driving school. Like how hard is it not to hit someone.
