Mega ’80s Throwback Concert Coming to Surprising New Northern Colorado Stage
Windsor’s Hoedown Hill has added another title —concert venue. Don’t expect a traditional hoedown, though, for its first foray this fall. Instead, the Colorado Plains ski hill will throw it back '80s style with two tribute bands and two familiar classics to christen the first Hoedown Hill Music Festival on Sept. 27 and 28.

Rosemary Fri, a groundbreaking figure in women's athletics at the University of Northern Colorado, passed away at the age of 91 on Sunday. An influential instructor and administrator, Fri established the women's tennis and volleyball programs, significantly advancing women's sports in the university. Broomfield Council passes first reading of universal trash hauler ordinance
Broomfield City Council unanimously approved the first reading of an ordinance that would allow the city and county to contract waste-hauling services for the area. At the meeting, Council approved an ordinance that, if passed on second reading, would give Broomfield the legal authority to contract a universal trash hauler, but would not enter the city and county into a contract immediately. A contract would have to be negotiated and agreed upon later.
