The Street Slayerz Car Club will host a benefit raffle, starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 19, in the Farmington Fun Center parking lot at 6520 E. Main St. There is a $5 car cruise entry fee, and all makes and models are encouraged to participate. NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – The Taxation and Revenue Department has expanded the filing extensions it has made available for taxpayers affected by the fires in the Ruidoso area. People affected by the fire who had returns with normal due dates of June 25, 2024, and July 25, 2024, can now file on September 25, 2024, according to a news release.

According to it on June 20, 2024 the West Side shelter had 170 open beds. Now, thanks to a recent US Supreme Court decision cities are confirmed nationwide to be allowed to clear “homeless” off public rights-of-way and parks and other public spaces.
APD says murder rate going down in Albuquerque
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Murders in Albuquerque are down compared to recent years, according to the Albuquerque Police Department (APD) Chief Harold Medina. As of Tuesday, there have been 47 murder victims in Albuquerque; that’s down by more than a quarter compared to this time last year. “I think nationally you see the same trends that a lot of other major cities have spiked and they’re starting to go back down,” said Gilbert Gallegos, public information officer for APD.
