The annual Sandcastle Competition returns to South Beach State Park 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, August 24. This free family-friendly event is an opportunity to indulge your creative side. It has been a favorite at South Beach State Park since 2001. Teams will have two hours to build their sandcastles. Participants, spectators and park staff will vote for their favorite creations.
