Parker McCollum's Wife Shares Sweet Update Days After Welcoming Baby No. 1

Parker McCollum ’s wife, Hallie Ray Light McCollum , took a moment to thank those who reached out to the first-time parents after welcoming Baby No. 1 on Thursday (August 8). Hallie assured that she and her newborn baby are both healthy on her Instagram story on Sunday (August 11).

The award-winning country star and his wife shared the first photos as a family of three on Friday (August 9) after they welcomed their baby boy, Major Yancey Tyler McCollum . Hallie shared a photo of Major on her Instagram story and wrote, “thank you SO SO much to everyone who has reached out to us the past few days! Major is healthy! Momma is healthy! Dad is the best dad to ever exist — & God is so good! It’s safe to say we are obsessed with this boy and soaking up all the newborn snuggles.”

McCollum announced earlier this year that he and his wife were expecting their first baby. The couple tied the knot in 2022. They shared a gender reveal shortly after making the pregnancy announcement to confirm that Baby No. 1 would be a “little cowboy.” Before Major’s arrival, McCollum revealed Baby No. 1’s name on The Spencer Graves Show , and Hallie offered a glimpse of her son’s cozy nursery.
