Dolly Parton Teases 'Glamorous' Beauty Products Arriving Soon

Dolly Parton hinted at a new line of beauty products on Tuesday (August 13).

The globally-beloved music legend posted a photo on her social media pages holding a red lipstick. Parton wrote in her caption: “I feel glamorous on the inside, so I want to look like it on the outside… something is coming [Dolly Beauty] 💄” The Dolly Beauty page includes the same photo, a link to sign up for additional information, and a newly-published WWD report by James Manso about Parton’s next projects.

Parton is reportedly set to debut the first four shades of lipstick of Dolly Beauty later this month. The collection, called Heaven’s Kiss, will arrive on August 22. Parton said in her WWD interview: “I’ve wanted to be pretty my whole life like most girls, especially country girls that have a dream of glamour. I started creating my own little makeup things at home when I was just a kid, and I’ve been known for wearing makeup — usually too much — for years.” Find the full interview here .

Parton’s soon-to-debut makeup line is the latest in the country artist’s beauty and fashion endeavors. Last year, she released Behind the Seams: My Life in Rhinestones , a book that chronicled Parton’s iconic looks over the course of her decades-long career. The artist, actress and philanthropist also introduced a fragrance collection, in addition to launching Dolly Wines, announcing plans for an original Broadway musical, co-authoring a cookbook with her sister Rachel Parton George , and more.
