Taylor Swift Brings Out 'Special Guest' At First Show Since Terror Threat

Taylor Swift played her first show following an alleged terror plot that fueled the cancellation of three Eras Tour shows last week, at Wembley Stadium in London on Thursday (August 15), and surprised the audience with a special guest.

According to People , the "I Can Do It with a Broken Heart" songstress was joined by longtime friend Ed Sheeran during the surprise song portion of her legendary three-and-a-half hour set, and what a surprise it was!

The duo performed joint hits, "End Game," and "Everything Has Changed" followed by Sheeran's "Thinking out Loud" as the crowd remained mesmerized by their melodic mastery. People mentioned that, despite keeping up with collaborations, this is the first time Swift and Sheeran have performed live together in many years.

In 2023, Sheeran expressed interest in joining the "Karma" hitmaker on tour, but the two continually played shows on the same dates.

"I would love to go and see Taylor's show, but we're all playing on the same dates every single weekend. I think there's a chance next year when she's in the U.K."

Finally, a year later, Swifties got to witness the icons perform live together once again. Fans continue to hold out hope that the "Bejeweled" star will release Reputation (Taylor's Version) in the near future, with Sheeran featured on "End Game" (as it is a Reputation era track after all ).

Swift is slated to perform a five-date run of shows at Wembley through August 20th, where she will conclude the European leg of her Eras Tour with plans to return to Canada in November.
