Jason Aldean Shares Heartfelt Birthday Tribute To Teen Daughter

Jason Aldean shared a heartfelt tribute to his daughter, Kendyl , to celebrate her 17th birthday on Tuesday (August 20).

Aldean posted several photos on Instagram , including a recent snapshot with his daughter and wife Brittany Aldean , in addition to some throwbacks throughout Kendyl’s childhood. The Highway Desperado artist reflected on his experience as a parent, and shared a sweet message to his daughter:

“As parents we spend all the young years runnin and gunnin, just trying to keep up and raise good humans. One day you wake up and they are almost grown and you realize you did pretty good at this dad thing. I can’t believe it’s been 17 years since you came in the world. You have been such a joy for all of us watching you grow up and seeing what kind of person you are. I’m so proud of you and all you stand for. I love u so much and hope u have the best day. Happy bday Kendyl ! 🎉 🎊 🎈

Aldean welcomed his two older children with his first wife, Keeley , 21, and Kendyl, now 17. Aldean and his first wife parted ways in 2013, and he remarried his current wife, Brittany, in 2015.
