Woman Miraculously Survives After Getting Thrown Off Roller Coaster

A woman from Brazil is lucky to be alive after getting thrown off of a roller coaster. According to the Daily Mail , Karine Brock , 37, was at an amusement park in Alem Paraíba, Minas Gerais, when she suffered life-changing injuries .

Brock was riding a roller coaster and was ejected from the ride as it went around a turn. She suffered fractured ribs and a head injury in the fall. Then, she suffered a seizure while paramedics were treating her.

Brock was rushed to the hospital, where doctors were shocked that she survived.

"When the doctor came to see me, his first question was if I believed in God, because given the fractures, injuries and the results of the MRI on my head, it was a true miracle that I was alive. Hearing from people about the accident didn't really sink in, until a doctor said that I wasn't supposed to be alive due to the circumstances," Brock wrote on Instagram .

In her Instagram post, Brock placed the blame on the operators of the roller coaster, claiming the "safety latch didn't work as it should."

Speaking to Brazilian news outlet G1 , Brock said she doesn't remember anything about the accident .

"The blows to my head were very strong, but I don't remember anything that happened, only when I was already in the hospital," she said.

Brock continues to recover from the injuries she received.

"I'm still hospitalized, with no set date for discharge, but I feel the presence of God by my side at every moment," Brock added on her social media post.
