The Offspring surprised fans at the OpenAir Gampel festival in Switzerland over the weekend by bringing out Yungblud to assist on their 1994 hit "Self Esteem."

“One of the cool things about playing these festivals is that you get to play with other people and meet other people, and we met some cool people,” frontman Dexter Holland told the crowd before introducing the rising UK rockstar to the stage. “We met this great young man today, we thought we should bring him out to play a song with us, what the hell. ‘Cause that’s what it’s all about, right? It’s not about the photo op; it’s about the camaraderie.”

“This is a f**king dream come true for me,” Yungblud said before they dove into the song. “This is mental.”

Holland let the alt-rock singer take the reins during the second verse of the song, and after accidentally knocking his guitar out of tune, Yungblud jumped into the crowd and pumped up the crowd while Holland retuned his instrument. "This kid's a good hype man," he said with a laugh before redirecting into the song's final verse.

At the end of the performance Holland praised the young star. Thank you Yungblud!" he exclaimed. "He’s pretty good, I think he’s gonna be okay.”

The Offspring shared a professionally shot video of the performance on their YouTube channel, which you can watch below.
