Flau'jae and Lil Wayne recently teamed up for the music video for their first collaboration, and it was everything she dreamed it would be.

The prominent college women's basketball player for the LSU Tigers and rising rapper dropped the official visuals for her song "Came Out a Beast" featuring Weezy on Monday, August 26. Her Terrius Mykel-directed video begins with a tough yet inspirational message from LSU's head coach Kim Mulkey, who encourages Flau'jae and her teammates to "play hard." From there, Flau'jae flexes her rapping skills on and off the court with Lil Wayne by her side.

“Working with Lil Wayne on the ‘Came Out A Beast’ video was a dream come true," Flau'jae told Billboard . "He’s a legend in the game, and being able to collaborate with him on this track was surreal. The energy on set was incredible, and we both brought that fire to the video. This is just the beginning, and I’m excited for everyone to see what we’ve created.”

Flau'jae Johnson's hit song is one of several stand-out singles on her debut EP Best of Both Worlds which arrived at the top of the summer. The 9-track project also features other collaborations with NLE Choppa ("AMF") and 2rare ("Karma"). It's the second project she's dropped since she began her freshman season as a shooting guard for the LSU Tigers. Flau'jae's album 4 My Fans dropped after she was named the 2022–23 Southeastern Conference (SEC) Freshman of the Year and signed multiple name, image, and likeness (NIL) deals with major brands like Puma and Taco Bell.
