Princess Diana 's longtime dance teacher, Anne Allan , got candid about confessions the late royal confided in her during their nine years of lessons in her new tell-all, Dancing With Diana; A Memoir , slated for release this month.

According to People , the Princess of Hearts would share intimate details of her life with Allan over the course of the 1980s, with topics ranging from unannounced pregnancies, to eating disorders, and so much more.

"Anne, I wanted to tell you that a little one is on the way. I'm pregnant," Lady Di secretly told Allan in 1981. "I wanted to let you know that, once the announcement is made, 'they' will not let me take classes anymore, but I would like to keep it going for as long as I can, and I don't want to be fussed over. After all, lots of ladies have babies."

The former Princess of Wales went on to deliver both Prince William and Prince Harry during her time with Allan, constantly relaying how much she loved both of her children as her marriage to King Charles III (then Prince Charles) began to fall apart.

"I just can’t seem to do anything right when it comes to my husband. I do love him so much and want him to be proud of me, but I don’t think he feels the same way. I don’t understand why I am not enough for him; I think he prefers an older woman. I know he is seeing Camilla again. Am I expected to accept that, like the other Princesses of Wales before, one just turns a blind eye to husbands having a mistress! Why does he not love me? I really don’t understand."

Allan simply let Diana open up about cracks within her marriage and existed as a listening ear, especially when it came to chats about the royal's eating disorder.

"I am so ashamed, Anne, but I need to tell you that I suffer from bulimia. I’m so sorry I haven’t been able to admit it to you, until now." Allan assured the People's Princess that overtime, she would gain confidence and learn not to judge herself so harshly.

(If you or someone you know is struggling with an eating disorder, seek assistance at NationalEatingDisorders.org .)

As the decade came to an end, so did their dance lessons. Contact between the two slowly faded after Allan moved to Scotland in 1989, but she held the experience close to her heart forever. The trusted confidant was not able to make it to Diana's funeral service after the royal's fatal car crash in '97, but did get a chance to watch the proceedings on television and mourn her loss with the rest of the world.

Dancing With Diana; A Memoir is slated for release on September 10th.
