Summer Pardi Recalls Unexpectedly Learning She Was Pregnant With Baby No. 1

Summer Pardi opened up about the moment she unexpectedly learned she was pregnant with Baby No. 1.

Summer and her husband, country star Jon Pardi , welcomed their firstborn daughter , Presley Fawn Pardi , in February 2023. Less than one year later, they announced Summer was pregnant with Baby No. 2, daughter Sienna Grace Pardi , who arrived in July. Summer met with host Caroline Hobby on a recent episode of Get Real with Caroline Hobby . During the podcast, and shared that she learned she was pregnant after deciding she was content without starting a family.

Summer and Jon went to a pool party hosted by Kane Brown and his wife, Katelyn Brown . The Browns are parents to daughters Kingsley Rose , who turns 5 next month, and Kodi Jane , who turns 3 in late December. They welcomed Baby No. 3, son Krewe Allen, in June. RaeLynn , who was also at the pool party, welcomed her daughter, Daisy Rae , in September 2021.

“I remember one day, we were at Katelyn and Kane’s pool, and RaeLynn and Katelyn had their babies, because their girls were, like, a few months apart,” Summer said on the podcast with Hobby. “And my girlfriend Beck was with me, and we were — we went there for a pool day. …Beck and I are sitting by the pool having margaritas, and Jon and Kane are in the pool drinking margaritas, and Katelyn and Rae are over here under a tent with these newborns, and we never even spoke to the girls because they were — and I remember vividly saying to Beck, like, ‘yeah, this isn’t for me. Like, what we’re doing right now is fantastic. That life [with kids] is not for me.’ And then fast forward, probably, I think that was like two weeks later I found out I was pregnant.” She added later: “I don’t know if we’re gonna have another one [baby],” at this time.
