Bruce Willis ' daughter Tallulah recently updated the world on the actor's grim dementia diagnosis, citing love amid pain.

The 30-year-old actress sat down with Today on Wednesday (September 18), revealing that her famous father's condition is currently stable despite the painful, hard days .

"He’s doing stable, which in this situation is good. And it’s hard; there’s painful days – but there’s so much love. And it really shown me to not take any moment for granted and I really do think that we'd be best friends. I really do think that he is very proud of me."

The actress also spoke of her recent autism diagnosis (after being misdiagnosed for many years), with a sense of joyous clarity.

"I'm very high functioning autistic, and my struggles are more in sensory, so being very sensitive to the world, and rather than more commonly people assume it's communication. It was very emotional. It was relief . If I'm being honest, I really hated myself, and I thought I was very broken, so to learn that the elements of myself that I felt were maladies or wrong or just too much for this world are actually okay, and they just require maybe a little bit more tools."

Willis is also a father to Mabel Ray Willis , 12, Evelyn Willis , 10, (whom he shares with wife Emma Heming Willis , 46) Rumer Willis , 36, and Scout Willis , 33 (whom he shares with ex-wife Demi Moore , 61), per The Daily Mail .

The "Die Hard" icon was diagnosed with aphasia and dementia in 2022 , and family members have continued to provide updates regarding his health as his condition becomes more severe with time.

Despite being divorced, Moore and Willis maintain a good relationship and continue to see each other at least once a week. The St. Elmo's Fire alum recently sat down with Drew Barrymore (as part of a recent episode of "The Drew Barrymore Show"), revealing that she advises their children to meet Willis where he is now rather than compare him to the man he once was, or who they want him to be, in an effort to ease hardships attached to the disease.
