Lil Durk continues the redemption arc of his life story with his new song.

On Wednesday, September 25, the Chicago rapper dropped his new single "Turn Up A Notch" produced by Southside and Smatt. This is Lil Durk's third solo track of the year. He kicked off 2024 with "Old Days" and served up "Went Hollywood For A Year" in June. Since then, the face of OTF has shared snippets of other songs like his upcoming collaboration with Drake , "Discontinuing Wokhardt." The aforementioned tracks are expected to appear on his next project Love Songs For The Streets 3 . The album will serve as the follow-up to his 2019 LP Love Songs For The Streets 2 . As of this report, the release date for his upcoming album has not been revealed.

Lil Durk dropped his latest track a few days after he confirmed his criminal record had been wiped clean. In a post he made on X over the weekend, Durk announced that he is no longer a felon.

"Everybody should get second chances at life," he wrote. "It’s about what you do with it. Alhamdulillah! My background wiped and clean of all cases. I ain’t a felon anymore. Who would have thought? I want to thank everyone who helped push my vision forward. Thank you from the bottom of my heart #THEVOICE"
