Rich Homie Quan passed away after he reportedly overdosed on fentanyl and other drugs.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner in Georgia confirmed the Atlanta rapper's cause of death to TMZ on Tuesday, October 1. Rich Homie Quan, born Dequantes Lamar, had a deadly mix of fentanyl, alprazolam, codeine and promethazine in his system when he died last month. The medical examiner also found THC in his body, but the marijuana didn't contribute to his ultimate demise. His death has also been ruled as an accident. There were no signs of trauma on his body when he was examined.

Rich Homie Quan was found unresponsive in his home in Atlanta on September 5. According to a 911 call, his girlfriend Amber Williams had discovered him on the couch early that morning and put a blanket on him because she thought he was asleep. When she came back from dropping off their kids at school, Williams noticed he wasn't breathing. He also began to foam at the mouth when she turned him over. He was pronounced dead on the scene and his body was transported to a morgue. He was only 34.

The late rapper was laid to rest in his hometown a couple of weeks ago. During the service, the city of Atlanta declared September 17 as Rich Homie Quan Memorial Day in front of his family and friends. Mayor Andre Dickens, Killer Mike and DC Young Fly delivered remarks at the funeral. His homegoing celebration was recapped in the music video for Quan's posthumous track "Song Cry." The late artist appeared in select scenes he shot before he passed away.

Rest in peace, Rich Homie Quan.
