Kesha Once Took A Friend To A Taylor Swift Party To Test Her Ex

There are loyalty tests, and then there are loyalty tests Kesha -style. The pop star opened up to Elle magazine about a number of topics, including her new music, but also divulged a little bit of tea pertaining to a previous relationship.

Kesha mentioned that she suspected her ex boyfriend was only seeking the limelight, so instead of taking him to one of Taylor Swift 's parties, she took her friend instead. And it looks like her instincts were right, because the relationship did not last past said party.

Kesha shared, "I had a feeling that he was in it for the wrong reasons and was a bit of a starf***er. I decided to test that theory and took one of my friends instead of him to Taylor Swift’s party. He came over the next day and broke up with me."

When one door closes, another one opens, and Kesha is optimistic when it comes to romance, but she has one simple rule for her next relationship. She explained to Elle , "I’m only going to enter into a partnership again if someone treats me as well as I treat myself. I kept hearing people say, ‘I’m looking for The One.’ I kept waiting for somebody else to fill that space, and then I just stepped into it myself. You gotta be all those things to yourself—your own boyfriend, sugar daddy, rich husband, best friend, cheerleader. I started taking myself on vacations, buying myself six dozen roses, and taking myself for shopping sprees at Saint Laurent. Yes, I take myself on f***ing really bougie dates, like really celebrating the f*** out of myself. Then 'Joyride' started being written in my mind. I was like, God, I am The One, though.”
