Kristen Bell Shares Husband's Reaction To Insane Chemistry With New Co-Star

Things get pretty steamy between Kristen Bell and Adam Brod y's characters in their new Netflix series, Nobody Wants This , and Dax Shepard has a few things to say about the romantic scenes starring his wife.

The You Again actress, who plays Morgan in the hot, new series, sat down with E!News on Thursday (October 3) to discuss her role in the on-screen love story that's currently sweeping the nation, and how her husband (with whom she shares children Lincoln , 10, and Delta , 8) feels about the connection between her and Brody (a.k.a. rabbi Noah ).

"Even I can acknowledge watching it, like, 'Whoa, that’s hot. My husband said the same thing. Like, watching the first episode he was like, 'Oh my God, I want you to kiss him so badly.'"

Aside from Shepard rooting for the plot like the extremely supportive husband he is, Bell shone a spotlight on her and Brody's ability to portray anticipation before a kissing scene as an amplification to the script.

"I’m not trying to be reductive, but I think there’s a math to it. You have two actors that know how to stare dopily into each other’s eyes, and you have to have the confidence to expand that and really sit the anticipatory value before the kiss — which I think is really important."

The O.C. alum (married to Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester ) is no stranger to stellar on-screen chemistry and also played a equal part in perfectly executing he and Bell's character's passionate (yet very complicated) love story, which Bell herself referred to as "lighting in a bottle."
