Last month, Jane's Addiction decided to cancel the remaining dates of their comeback tour after frontman Perry Farrell had a physical altercation with guitarist Dave Navarro onstage. The band's members explained that Farrell had been suffering from "mental health difficulties" in a joint statement, and the singer issued an apology on social media stating "It is only right that I apologize to my bandmates, especially Dave Navarro, fans, family and friends for my actions during Friday’s show. Unfortunately, my breaking point resulted in inexcusable behavior, and I take full accountability for how I chose to handle the situation.”

Since them, a former bandmate of Farrell's declared he was "the worst frontman I've ever worked with" and Jane's guitar and bass tech of 17 years Dan Cleary, who was on tour with them when the fight broke out, divulged some shocking details about the altercation , admitting, "I know this band is over with, but I really do hope that he’s able to figure [things] out…"

Cleary also shared an isolated mic track on YouTube of the moments leading up to Farrell shoving and swinging at Navarro.

“He’s in the wrong spot,” Cleary points out in the clip, as Farrell's voice sounds extremely strained and off key. When Farrell snaps, he shouts, “F**k these motherf**kers. F**k them, f**k them. f**k him," before getting physical with his guitarist.

The clip drew more concerns from fans, who took to the YouTube comments.

"To me it seems like he had a moment of realization that everyone sounded good except himself, and threw a temper tantrum because of it," one pointed out.

“It’s disastrous how far he’s fallen,” lamented another. “That band was a true force of nature in the ’80s/’90s.”

"I love Jane’s, and I love Perry… and this is just horrific," wrote another.

His problem is his instrument is broken. The other guys can still continue, but he's done. So he freaked the fuck out over it.
