Usher has postponed his scheduled tour dates in Miami ahead of Hurricane Milton's arrival in the Sunshine State.

On Tuesday night, October 8, the Grammy award-winner took to social media and announced his plans to reschedule his three-night tour stop in Miami. Usher was expected to invade the Kaseya Center in Downtown Miami on Friday, October 11 - Monday, October 14 as part of his "Past Present Future Tour." Now fans will have to wait until December to see Usher's anticipated show.

"Florida, stay safe. I will see you soon," he wrote in his caption.

"My upcoming shows in Miami at Kaseya Center have been rescheduled for december due to the state of emergency in Florida," his message said. "Everyone's safety and well-being remain top priority and I'd rather celebrate with you all at a time when you can get to and from the show safely. Praying for everyone affected by this natural disaster."

Usher's show on October 11 will now take place on December 16. His October 12 show will now occur on December 18 and the October 14 show will go down on December 19. Hurricane Milton has weakened from a Category 5 storm to a Category 4 and is expected to hit the Tampa Bay area by Wednesday afternoon. The storm could be one of the worst storms to hit the state in years. Although Miami is not in the storm's direct path, Usher decided to avoid the state to ensure no one gets hurt while going to his show.

Following his shows in Texas, Usher will hit up Atlanta next week and will proceed to other major cities in North Carolina, Missouri, Illinois and more. His tour is expected to wrap up in December.
