Hotel Guest Disturbed By Chilling Discovery On Bathroom Door

Usually, staying in a hotel can be a pleasant and problem-free experience, but it doesn't always go that way. From haunted rooms to creepy discoveries under the bed to warnings over shampoo and soap dispensers , some guests have encountered less-than-desirable things. Well another item can be added to that list after a man found something very disturbing on the bathroom door of the room he was staying in.

The door seemed typical, featuring a lock to keep people out and provide privacy for those in the bathroom , but it also had a rather unusual feature - a second lock high up that could only be accessed from outside the bathroom , which means if someone wanted to, they could trap someone in the lavatory.

The man who found the door shared video of it on TikTok, saying in the clip, "I hate this. Why can you only lock it from the outside?"

Commenters were equally shocked, with many stating that the door belongs in a horror movie. One person wrote, "That is terrifying" and another asked, "What is happening there?"

As for what the high lock could possibly be for, one commenter suggested, "I'm assuming since I worked security in a hotel it's for emergencies, EMS or the security suits or managers have a master key that'll unlock that but no one else." The official reason for it is still unknown.
