Morgan Wallen is kicking off a three-day music festival in 2025.

The country star announced the Sand In My Boots Music Festival on Thursday morning (October 17), titled after one of the hit singles that appeared on his 36-track record, One Thing At A Time , last year. The festival is set to take place from May 16 through 18 in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Wallen revealed the dates and destination in an announcement video he shared on Instagram :

“What’s going on, everybody? It’s Morgan Wallen. I just wanted to hop on here and share some exciting news with y’all. Me and my team have been working on this for a while, and we’re gonna be heading south to the beaches and I’m bringing some of my friends with me. Mark your calendars for May 16, 17 and 18 of 2025 for the Sand In My Boots Music Festival. It’s gonna be in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Stay tuned. We’ll get you some more info.”

Though the lineup has not been announced as of publication time (in addition to other details, including ticketing info), the Sand In My Boots festival aims to feature a multi-genre lineup of artists who have inspired Wallen and are his closest friends, per a press release issued Thursday. Stacy Vee , EVP of Goldenvoice and Producer of Stagecoach, said in a statement that “creating a festival with Morgan has been a dream come true… and some of the most fun I have ever had booking a show!” AEG Presents and Hangout Festival Producer Reeves Price added in a statement that “the opportunity to bring Morgan's world to life on the beach in Gulf Shores is something very special.”

Wallen’s announcement arrives as he wraps up his “One Night At A Time 2024 Tour,” which recently included a historic two-night run at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee. Wallen became the first artist two play two back-to-back nights at the venue, and performed for a total of more than 156,000 fans, breaking a record previously set by The Jackson 5 in the 1980s. Those concerts included surprise guests Miranda Lambert , Darius Rucker , Eric Church , and opening artists HARDY and ERNEST . Wallen’s newest song, “Love Somebody,” is set to release on Friday (October 18).
