    Bailey Zimmerman Offers Heartfelt Reminder About Resilience Amid Adversity

    Bailey Zimmerman delivered a heartfelt reminder to hang onto “resilience in the face of adversity,” with the ballad he debuted on Friday morning (October 18).

    Zimmerman teamed up with songwriters Austin Shawn and Blake Whiten to pen “ Holding On .” Zimmerman has previously teased the song on his social media accounts and performed last month at the historic Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee, notes a press release announcing the song’s debut.

    “Would you be strong and keep holding on?/ If this was your last breath, would you waste it on me?/ Stick around when I’m in the dark, be the angel that comes down and picks up my heart.”

    “No matter who you are or where you’re at in life, everybody goes through hard times. I hope this song reminds you guys to keep going when you’re faced with adversity because you never know what tomorrow may have in store for you. KEEP GOING, KEEP HOLDING ON,” Zimmerman said in a statement in the release.

    The CMA New Artist of the Year nominee is gearing up for the star-studded Concert for Carolina benefit show later this month. Proceeds from the event will help with hurricane relief efforts in the area in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Luke Combs , Eric Church , Billy Strings and James Taylor will headline Concert for Carolina, and the full lineup includes Sheryl Crow , Keith Urban , The Avett Brothers , Scotty McCreery , Chase Rice and Parmalee , in addition to Zimmerman. ESPN’s Marty Smith and Barstool Sports’ Caleb Pressley are set to host the show. Concert for Carolina quickly sold out, but viewers can still tune in via a livestream available on Veeps. the livestream will be available for free to those impacted by Hurricane Helene, and tickets will be available to others at $24.99 teach with an option to provide an additional donation. Concert for Carolina takes place on Saturday, October 26, at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
