Valley Park Woman Drowns In Big River
A Valley Park woman drowned Sunday afternoon in St. Francois County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 40-year-old Melissa A. Hill of Valley Park, Mo., entered the water around 2:15 p.m. to help another individual in the water, upstream from St. Francois State Park on the Big River. Hill became unconscious and was found floating face down by bystanders, who recovered Hill and began life-saving measures, but were unsuccessful.

Redington Plumbing Company was founded by the grandfather of the current owners in 1929 when Kirkwood was still developing as a suburb. J.E.
