WPIAL Announces 2024 Football Championship Locations
There’s a slight but potentially major change in WPIAL football championship destinations in 2024. Acrisure Stadium has hosted all but the Class-5A and 6A championships in recent seasons, barring the COVID-19-impacted season in 2020 which impacted all classes, but that’s going to change in 2024. The Class-1A, 2A, 3A and 5A championships will be held at Acrisure Stadium this year.

An ex-Dallas Cowboys quarterback is trying to find a new NFL home. As noted by Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk, the Pittsburgh Steelers worked out former Cowboys quarterback Ben DiNucci on Tuesday, July 23. The workout took place just before the start of training camp with Pittsburgh opening camp the next day. DiNucci had actually spent the 2023 season backing up the Steelers’ current favorite to start at quarterback, Russell Wilson.
Arrest warrants issued for three teenagers in connection with Industry Borough triple stabbing
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police in Beaver County are looking for three teens wanted in connection with a triple stabbing that took place earlier this week in Industry Borough. The incident took place along Midland Beaver Road earlier this week and three people were stabbed and taken to the hospital.Arrest warrants have been filed for 18-year-old Jonathan Bish, 18-year-old Chantz Cottrill, and 17-year-old Julia Dibacco. All three suspects are facing attempted murder, aggravated assault, and conspiracy charges.It's unclear what led up to the stabbing.
