CORNHOLE FOR A CAUSE: COMMUNITY DAY TO EMPOWER LIVES WITH IN FLIGHT, INC.

CATSKILL, NY – In Flight, Inc. is excited to announce the return of its much-loved 'Cornhole for a Cause' event. In partnership with Hudson Regional LTC Pharmacy, the family-friendly event is set to take place on September 14th at 10 AM at Dutchman’s Landing Park in Catskill. This day-long celebration combines fun, music, and community spirit, all dedicated to supporting those with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Hudson Valley and Capital Region.

Revel in the live music of The Band Everything Else, as they take us on a nostalgic journey back to the era of the British Invasion. Local food trucks will be serving up a variety of culinary delights, while Mill House Brewing Company ensures everyone stays refreshed with a selection of beverages at the beer tent. Highlights of the event include a silent auction featuring a set of cornhole boards and bags, as well as raffles brimming with fantastic prizes. Children and the young at heart will be captivated by the creativity of our on-site face painter.

The event’s highlight is its two cornhole tournaments, designed to welcome players of all skill levels and abilities. The All Abilities Blind Draw Tournament commences at 11:30 AM, with a $25 entry fee per player. The Competitive Tournament, set to begin at 1:00 PM, invited teams to participate for $50 per duo. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just enjoy a casual toss, these tournaments offer a perfect way to get involved.

Your participation means more than just a day of enjoyment; it’s an opportunity to contribute to In Flight, Inc’s vital cause. All proceeds from the event will benefit In Flight, Inc.’s mission to empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and help provide essential programs and services that promote independence, inclusion, and a brighter future for all.
