Sister Wives star Christine Brown and Janelle Brown shared their thoughts on ex-husband Kody Brown ’s tension with his last remaining wife, Robyn Brown .
“I think they’re fine,” Christine, 52, told E! News about Kody, 55, and Robyn, 45, in an interview published on Thursday, October 10. Janelle, 55, agreed and said, “I actually feel like that’s probably normal couple relationship dynamics.”
The former sister wives then said that the tension in Kody and Robyn’s relationship was likely caused by the changing dynamics of their family.
Christine was the first of Kody’s wives to leave their polygamous family in November 2021, followed by Janelle in December 2022 and Meri Brown in December 2023.

"You know that that’s got to be really hard on him,” Christine said about her ex, whom she spiritually wed in 1994. “It’s, what, three divorces in two years? So, their relationship will probably have some things they have to figure out because it changes the dynamic of who you are as a person. But no, I would imagine they’re fine. I bet they’re going to be great together.”
Janelle reiterated Christine’s thoughts by adding, "I’m sure they’re fine.”

Kody and Robyn have been open about the troubles in their marriage on the reality show, as they both preferred to be in polygamous relationships. Meanwhile, they hinted at changes in their marriage when In Touch exclusively reported that they listed their home for $1,650,000 on August 29. However, the home was never sold and In Touch exclusively confirmed that it was no longer on the market in October.
In light of the sale, a source exclusively told In Touch that Kody and Robyn – who wed in 2014 – were experiencing issues in their relationship .
“Robyn may be Kody’s last wife standing, but that looks like it’s about to change,” the insider revealed in a September 3 article. “They’ve put their Flagstaff home on the market and the whispers are that it’s because Robyn wants out.”

The source added that the reality star’s relationship hasn’t “been the same since Meri, Janelle and Christine left him.”
“Robyn and Kody argue about small things that shouldn’t matter and they butt heads often,” the insider continued. “They’ve basically drifted apart. This is not the life Robyn envisioned. All the signs are there, a split is inevitable.”
Not only is Kody dealing with a new dynamic in his and Robyn’s marriage, but he is also dealing with a lawsuit against Christine. The mother of six sued her ex for child support and custody of their youngest child, Truely Brown , in September. In the filing, Christine asked the court to establish paternity of Truely , 14, because Kody was never named on her birth certificate.
Additionally, Christine requested a domestic relations injunction that will stop both parties from domestic violence, harassment, taking the children for nonroutine travel without court orders or permission, canceling or modifying services and demeaning or disparaging the other party. The request also prevents both parties from engaging in financial matters, activities and specific behaviors.
