Tigerlily’s real name is Mariko Leigh Moss Taylor, according to legal documents viewed by In Touch. The 90 Day Fiancé alum told her followers via an October 2024 Instagram Story that she changed her name “later in life” for three reasons.

She explained that her first reason was that a variation of her name meant “something derogatory in another language.” A form of her “Mariko” is considered derogatory slang for a homosexual man in Spanish, according to Tureng.

“Reason 2: the person who named me poisoned, killed and stole from someone that I care deeply about,” she revealed, declining to name the person. “Reason 3: I’m all about freedom and think we should pick our own names.”
