Jennifer Lopez ‘Seeing Red’ Over Ex Husband Ben Affleck’s Total Post-Divorce Makeover and Glow Up

Ben Affleck’s hair and beard makeover is just the tip of the iceberg as he’s decided to overhaul his life from top to bottom now that he’s single again – and it’s got his ex Jennifer Lopez fuming that he never cared enough to take care of himself like this while they were married, a source exclusively tells In Touch.

Famous all over the internet for his frumpy look – usually sporting a sweater and five o’clock shadow with a cigarette to boot – the source says that now “Ben is suddenly going out of his way to pamper himself and look his absolute best.

“He’s now dying his hair, getting manicures and pedicures, getting waxed from head to toe. He’s even getting hair plugs and seeing the dermatologist for skin treatments to turn back the clock.”

“Even his diet is cleaner. He’s cut out a ton of the junk.”

The Gone Girl star, 52, debuted his new look while out and about with his kid, Fin, in Santa Monica on Thursday, October 3. He sported a smart-looking pressed button down shirt in blue plus black dress pants and shoes, along with a well-matched silver watch.

Even his hair and beard had been trimmed and the subtle gray streaks seemed to have disappeared.

“As you can imagine J. Lo is seeing red,” the insider continues, “because these are all the things she wanted him to do when they were together and he totally refused.”

The Batman star reunited with his long lost flame almost 20 years after first calling off their engagement in January 2004. The two never openly dished any dirt on the other in the intervening years, in fact, for the most part they had high praise and warm wishes for their ex over the years.

By May 2021, a different source had confirmed to In Touch that the two were a couple again and by June that year the source said, “They’re talking about their future together.”

They finally took the plunge and married in July 2022, but the future they had talked about turned out to be rather dismal.

The Argo star and his “Let’s Get Loud” singer wife, 55, ran into problems less than two years into their marriage, with the two spending nearly the entire summer of 2024 apart, including their second anniversary.

In Touch had exclusively reported that a source in their camp said they were “headed for a divorce,” in May. The paperwork was filed on August 20, with their date of separation listed as April 26.

It’s clear now that Ben is ready to pick himself back up and move on post divorce, according to the source.

“It feels like a total slap in the face because it’s sending this message that she wasn’t worth making these changes for, but now that he’s single and looking to impress new women he’s willing to step it up and stop being such a slob.”
