Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner Arrive at Event Together That Jennifer Lopez Also Attends

It was a family affair for Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner and Jennifer Lopez as they all attended the same event this weekend. Ben and Jen Garner arrived at the Brentwood event together on October 18, while J. Lo came separately.

In photos taken outside the event, Fin Affleck accompanied Ben, 52, and Jen, 52, while J. Lo, 55, was joined by her child Emme and some other guests. The Argo actor and 13 Going on 30 actress both rocked jeans and jackets for the outing, while J. Lo stunned in a jumpsuit and heels.

Ben and the “On the Floor” singer are currently in the process of finalizing their divorce after she filed to end their two-year marriage on August 20. In her divorce filing, J. Lo listed the pair’s separation date as April 26, less than two years after they tied the knot in July 2022.

The estranged couple is struggling to sell the $68 million mansion they purchased together during their marriage, which has become “a huge pain because it’s going to involve a ton of red tape,” a source exclusively told In Touch, adding, “Essentially, until that’s sold, they can’t settle the divorce. There’s really no telling how long that could delay things.”

In an interview published on October 9, J. Lo broke her silence about the divorce, telling Interview magazine, “I was thinking about this time in my life, and I’m like, ‘That’s not what I thought it was going to turn out like.’ And then I thought, ‘No, this is exactly where I needed to be, to lead me to where I want to go.’”

However, she also clarified, “That doesn’t mean it didn’t almost take me out for good. It almost did. But now, on the other side of it, I think to myself, ‘F–k, that is exactly what I needed. Thank you, God. I’m sorry it took me so long. I’m sorry that you had to do this to me so many times. I should have learned two or three times ago. I get it. You had to hit me really hard over the head with a f–king sledgehammer. You dropped the house on me. Don’t have to do it again.’”

The Mother star admitted that she doesn’t “have everything figured out” at the moment, but said she’s “excited” for what’s ahead. “When you say, ‘You’re going to be on your own,’ yes. I’m not looking for anybody because everything that I’ve done over the past 25, 30 years, being in these different challenging situations, what can I f–king do when it’s just me flying on my own? What if I’m just free?”

In September, the estranged A-listers reunited for lunch with some of their kids – he shares Fin, Violet, 18, and Samuel with Jen Garner while she has twins Emme and Max 16, with Marc Anthony – at the Beverly Hills Hotel. The pair was reportedly “holding hands and kissing” inside the Polo Lounge, according to Page Six.

However, a source exclusively told In Touch, “Even though there’s clearly still a physical attraction between them, the conflicts are still there. This could all just cause more resentment.”

The two are using famed divorce attorney Laura Wasser to help navigate their split.
