Bee Jays Dominate Dodge in Home Finale
The Liberal Bee Jays won their last home game 17-0 in seven innings Saturday night at Brent Gould Field. Robert Orr was named the Bee Jay Player of the Year before the game. HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Kevin Thomas Jr. claimed the title in the inaugural USAC Silver Crown Salt City 100 on Saturday evening at the Kansas State Fairgrounds. Thomas Jr. entered the night with five runner-up finishes, but no titles. The Cullman, Alabama native was able to secure the championship in his 22nd career start in the USAC Silver Crown Champ Car Series.

Report: Police force on Black Tulsans far exceeds representation in city
Tulsa police use non-lethal force on Black people far more than anyone else in the city, but TPD officials argue there is legitimacy to when officers choose to use force. Experts disagree on cause of Oklahoma’s rising rents
Housing shortages and rising rents go hand-in-hand with supply-demand economics. When supply is low and demand is high, one can reasonably assume costs will rise. Broken Arrow Police Identify Shooter In Triple-Murder-Suicide
Broken Arrow Police have identified the shooter in an apparent murder-suicide in Broken Arrow. According to BAPD, 26-year-old Jacob Haas fatally shot his 21-year-old brother, 76-year-old grandfather, and 55-year-old aunt. Police report that autopsy findings indicate Haas died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound but added that the official report is still pending.

Deadly shooting at Econo Lodge Motel in Pryor, suspect in custody
PRYOR, OKLA. (KTUL) — Pryor Creek Police are investigating after a deadly shooting at an Econo Lodge Motel. Officers responded around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday and found a man with at least two gunshot wounds to his upper body. Witnesses said the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle.
