Tornado watch issued across upstate New York

Tyler Lynn LaPoint, 29, of Tioga was charged by Pennsylvania State Police with unlawful use of medical marijuana and exceeding posted speed limit by 14 miles per hour. Burglary Charges for Franklinville Man
An investigation conducted by the Cuba Police Department has led to burglary charges for a Franklinville man. 43-year-old Dennis P Kranock was charged Thursday with felony burglary, as well as misdemeanor criminal contempt and trespass. Kranock was transported to the Allegany County Jail and held pending further court proceedings.
Authority recommends Elkland clean water tank
ELKLAND — The Elkland Borough Authority agreed to recommend that the Elkland borough council inspect and clean the community’s water storage tank. According to authority members at the July 10 meeting, the borough has not performed the tank’s annual cleaning as required by the Department of Environmental Protection.
