Portville Heritage Day to be celebrated on Saturday
PORTVILLE — Michelle Platt remembers when the annual summer community celebration in Portville was called Colonial Days. She recalled the fun children had with games and delicious treats, and the enjoyment that adults had in gathering and catching up with friends and classmates who came back to town for the event.

OLEAN — The Hornell Steamers continued their winning ways on Wednesday as they exploded for a 5-run fifth inning to topple the Olean Oilers 7-1 at Bradner Stadium. The Hornell Police Department (HPD) recently received news that it has been awarded $188,647 in grant funds from the State of New York. The funding is provided to law enforcement offices throughout the state to support technological improvements and investments.

Such license shall be renewed annually at fees determined by the Town Board of the Town of Alma. Licensing ensures that all dogs have been properly vaccinated against rabies for the protection of both you and your neighbors.
