Pa. man charged with attempted murder after shooting on Smith Hollow Road in Wellsville
A Pennsylvania man was charged with attempted murder and other crimes after allegedly shooting a man during an incident Wednesday night in the Town of Wellsville. Gregory S. Miller, 54 of Penndel, Pa. was charged with second-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangerment, first-degree criminal use of a weapon, and several counts of criminal possession of a weapon.

STEUBEN, NY, (July 03, 2024) - New York State Police responded on July 3 to a single-vehicle crash in Steuben County that claimed the life of a 26-year-old man. According to an initial investigation by troopers, a 31-year-old Angelica man was driving a 2017 Dodge Caravan along Route 371 in Cohocton. Shortly before 5 p.m., he attempted to pass another vehicle in a no-passing zone. He lost control of the vehicle, causing it to leave the roadway and overturn.

Sad news: Wellsville man dies after ATV accident
On July 4, 2024, at approximately 10:00 p.m., State Police were called to County Road 38 in the town of Alma for a report of an ATV accident. An investigation determined that the driver of the ATV, Jesse M. Bestine, 26, along with one passenger, Zachary J. Barnett, 25, both of Wellsville, were traveling east on County Road 38, when Bestine swerved to avoid an oncoming vehicle causing the ATV to overturn several times.
