    Merrimack’s FIRST Robotics Team to Host Annual Mayhem in Merrimack on Sept. 14

    (Merrimack, NH) The Merrimack High School FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team, Chop Shop 166, is hosting their annual FRC event titled, Mayhem in Merrimack. The annual event brings in 24 teams to face off in friendly off-season competition.

    “We are proud to host the first off-season event of the fall in New England,” said Matthew Gage, Lead Mentor of Chop Shop 166. “This will be our 20th Mayhem in Merrimack event and this year we have 24 teams from all across New Hampshire and Massachusetts participating in the event.”

    Mayhem in Merrimack will be held at Merrimack High School, (38 McElwain Street, Merrimack, NH, 03054) on Saturday September 14th from 8:30am to 4pm. The event is free of charge and concessions are available for purchase throughout the day.

    “Mayhem in Merrimack is a great opportunity for new students and the Merrimack community to see what FIRST Robotics is all about,” said Shane G., co-Captain of Chop Shop 166. “We invite everyone to come to Merrimack High School and enjoy the show.”

    FIRST ® is a robotics community that prepares young people for the future through a suite of inclusive, team-based robotics programs for ages 4-18 (PreK-12) that can be facilitated in school or in structured afterschool programs.
