LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The man charged with trying to shoot then mayoral candidate Craig Greenberg is expected to change his plea in the federal case. Louisville Metro Police Department said in February 2022, Quintez Brown went to Greenberg’s campaign office and fired a gun six times. Greenberg was not injured, but he had a bullet hole in his sweater.
Mother of newborn found dead in closet released from jail; placed on home incarceration
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - On Wednesday, WAVE News received an update on the case of a Louisville mother who was arrested after her newborn child was found dead in a closet. On Wednesday, a judge sent Daira Aguilar’s case to a grand jury for a potential indictment. Aguilar is facing one count of abuse of a corpse after she allegedly put her newborn baby inside a trash bag, and left the bag inside a closet.

LMPD commander reassigned during investigation of alleged gender discrimination

At this time, LMPD has only said that he has been temporarily reassigned while an investigation into a gender discrimination complaint takes place.
