LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Dirt is being moved to build new apartments at the site of the old Iroquois Homes in Louisville's Hazelwood neighborhood. "The new community will be adjacent to the Hazelwood Shopping Center featuring the Iroquois Health Center, a Save A Lot grocery store -- good prices there -- a Family Dollar store and other small retail outlets," said Elizabeth Strojan, executive director of the Louisville Metro Housing Authority (LMHA). "So we're not just doing housing here. We're bringing y'all back to a great neighborhood."

According to the report of Wave, in May, Lisa had a terrible surprise when her car was stolen from a Public Storage facility in Jeffersontown, Kentucky. Thieves took the motor, brake line, seats, and console from her car, leaving her with many questions. Even though her son had locked the storage unit, it was replaced with a lock from the facility. After waiting seven days for the facility to cut the new lock, Lisa found the unit empty with no sign of her car or any broken glass. Her insurance company told her the car was impounded on May 14, and the police report said it was found over 27 miles away in Valley Station.

Kentucky skyscraper repossessed after owners defaults on $28 million loan
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WKRC) - A Kentucky skyscraper was repossessed after the owners defaulted on a $28 million loan. According to WHAS-TV, the 26-story Meidinger Tower in Louisville, Kentucky was repossessed after the Wilmington Trust National Association filed a June lawsuit in Jefferson County Circuit Court. The lender's lawsuit accused the owners of the skyscraper of failing to make a monthly payment of $142,204.82 last November, also alleging that the owners have had failed to make a payment in any subsequent month, per the station.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Baptist Health Louisville held a groundbreaking ceremony Thursday morning on its new dual emergency and urgent care facility. Baptist and Intuitive Health hosted the event on Bardstown Road off Interstate 265, between Fern Creek and Highview.
