Knife held to throat of handyman who finds sleeping homeless pair in residence
A homeless man and woman were charged with burglary when a handyman found them asleep at the home he was working on. Deputies were dispatched to an undisclosed Eustis residence regarding a handyman finding a male, 46-year-old Kenneth Ray Hutchinson, and female, 35-year-old April Dominique Cain, who broke into said residence around 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies were advised that Hutchinson held a knife to the handyman’s throat.
River otter responsible for multiple deaths at Lake Eola
A river otter was discovered in Lake Eola on Monday, July 15, unfortunately, the City of Orlando’s Families, Parks, and Recreation staff also found two Australian Black swans and one duck dead. The assumption is that the otter is responsible for the deaths of the swans and ducks though it was not caught on camera.

A tragic accident occurred early Thursday morning in Miami Gardens, resulting in the death of a bicyclist. The crash took place near the intersection of Miami Gardens Drive and U.S. 441, prompting a swift response from emergency services.
