Argument between friends ends in fatal shooting in Tuscaloosa hotel parking lot
TUSCALOOSA, Ala (WBMA) — An argument between friends ended with one shot to death according to the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's office. Captain Jack Kennedy said in a news release the fatal shooting happened in the parking lot of the Embassy Suites on University Boulevard just after 9pm Saturday night.

Former Alabama football star sentenced to hard labor in Alabama for animal cruelty
Former Crimson Tide star, Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman, Isaiah Buggs has been convicted on two counts of misdemeanor animal cruelty charges. Tuscaloosa County District Judge Joanne Jannik sentenced Buggs on July 19 to a year of hard labor, ordering him to serve 60 days.
