Global tech glitch halts flights and disrupts services worldwide, including in Maine
A major IT outage on Friday is affecting computer systems across the globe, including in Maine. The outage is impacting airports, banks, and media companies to name a few. Cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike said that the issue believed to be behind the outage was not a security incident or cyberattack — and that a fix was on the way. The company said the problem occurred when it deployed a faulty update to computers running Microsoft Windows.

Maine man accused of drug trafficking after police raid home in Gray
GRAY (WGME) -- A Maine man has been charged with drug trafficking after authorities say they found fentanyl, meth, and more inside his home in Gray. The MDEA says 50-year-old Peter Petersen had been selling fentanyl and methamphetamine from his home at 80 Whitney Road in Gray. Authorities say undercover agents bought drugs from Petersen.
