Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at The Elm Restaurant, a spot that's a bit on the pricey side but offers some surprisingly affordable and scrumptious burgers. The rabbit meat and beef tartare come highly recommended, and I must say, they did not disappoint. The ambiance of The Elm is refined and beautifully decorated, creating a great atmosphere for a dining experience. The appetizers, like the deconstructed deviled egg salad and the farro-arugula salad, were standout dishes, each earning a perfect score from my taste buds. However, the main courses were a bit of a mixed bag. While the duck breast was delicious, albeit small in portion, some dishes like the deep-fried cauliflower missed the mark with overpowering saltiness and lacked the promised spice. On a sweeter note, the cocktails are a must-try, with the miso-infused option being a delightful surprise. The service was impeccable, with our waiter being both friendly and knowledgeable, enhancing our dining experience. If you're in the mood for something different and are keen on excellent drinks and starters, The Elm is definitely worth a visit.
