During a recent visit to Charlie Browns Pancake & Steak House, I was immediately charmed by the old-school diner vibe, complete with funky decorations and a clean, well-maintained setting. The atmosphere was buzzing, especially as they had just started opening outdoor seating to accommodate more guests. Despite the crowd, the service was remarkably friendly and efficient. An employee, who was off-duty and dining, even jumped in to help out, which really spoke volumes about the staff's dedication and morale.
The menu was filled with enticing options, but I opted for the bacon crepe with added cheese, which was simply delightful in its texture and taste. My companions enjoyed a variety of dishes including a waffle that was praised for its hint of vanilla in the batter, and a dish topped with some of the best gravy we've ever tasted. Each dish was carefully checked before being served, ensuring every meal was perfect. It's clear why Charlie Browns is a beloved spot for many, and it's definitely on my list for a return visit!
