Caitlin Clark's Fever big underdogs to A'ja Wilson, Aces

Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark.
Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are coming off of a surprising 88-82 win over Brittney Griner, Diana Taurasi and the Phoenix Mercury on Sunday, a day that saw Clark play one of her most exciting all-around games yet.
Clark scored 15 points during the contest, one off of her season average, but also stuffed the stat sheet with 12 assists and nine rebounds in 39 minutes.
Meanwhile, 42-year-old Taurasi, the WNBA's all-time leading scorer and still a bona fide superstar in her own right, scored 19 points on a team led by Griner's 24 points.
Clark's out-dueling of two of the WNBA's most popular incumbent players has set her and the Fever up nicely for a Tuesday date with the Las Vegas Aces at 9:30 p.m. ET.
For Clark and the Fever, it will be a chance at redemption after the Aces beat Indiana 99-80 earlier in the season.
For the Las Vegas oddsmakers, it's become a chance to possibly cash in on the hometown team, judging by the latest odds.
The Aces are currently favored by 13.5 points according to DraftKings sportsbook, a surprising spread considering how effective the Fever looked in Sunday's win over a talented Mercury team.
The Aces are 10-6 on the season in stark contrast to the 8-12 Fever.
The key to the game could be how well the Fever handle the pressure of another high-profile game so soon after Sunday's contest. Ticket prices have been sky-high for every game Clark and the Fever have played so far this season. Las Vegas has the marquee draw of being defending WNBA champions, led by A'ja Wilson.
Wilson is currently averaging 26.9 points and 11.1 rebounds on the season, suggesting that it could be a long night for Clark and her teammates in Vegas yet again unless something drastic changes.
