Caitlin Clark made waves during the Indiana Fever’s practice on Monday — and it wasn’t because of any of her slick moves. The WNBA All-Star rocked a pair of Kobe 5 shoes that may not be on the public's radar just yet.

The Fever posted a few snapshots on Instagram from the team’s first practice following the WNBA’s league-mandated 2024 Olympic break.

Eagle-eyed fans noticed that Clark was photographed wearing an unfamiliar pair of yellow-and-black Kobe 5s, which had fans speculating that the kicks could potentially be an unreleased pair.

It wouldn't be the first time Clark has had access to unreleased Kobe shoes. Throughout the 2024 campaign, she wore never-before-seen colorways of Kobe's shoes.

WNBA fans commented on the Fever's post, sharing their thoughts on the potential unreleased sneakers.

"Unreleased kobes I see you CC," said one fan.

"Caitlin with the new shoes," commented another fan.

"Unreleased kobes I see you CC," mentioned another fan.

The photo of Clark wearing the sneakers has been viewed over 50k times on multiple social media accounts in less than seven hours.

While it cannot be confirmed that the shoes are unreleased, StockX, GOAT, or SNKRS do not show the specific colorway.

Clark's relationship with the Bryant family is well documented, having recently interacted with Vanessa Bryant and her daughter at the 2024 WNBA All-Star game.

Her Nike connection could come directly from the Bryant family or stem from her shoe deal with the company. Clark signed to an eight-year, $28 million deal with Nike, which she signed in April.

The rookie is averaging 17.1 points and 8.2 assists per game for Indiana.

She hasn't just put on a show with her shoes or physical accessories. The first-year star leads the league in average assists and has cemented herself as one of the most versatile offensive weapons in the WNBA.

Clark and the Fever will return on the court after the 2024 Paris Olympics break on Aug. 16 at 7:30 p.m. ET against the Phoenix Mercury.
