MONTICELLO, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — The body of a man who reportedly drowned was recovered Saturday morning.

The Wayne County Rescue Squad (WCRS) said that crews were dispatched by Monticello Wayne County 911 just before midnight on Friday to Harmon Creek in response to a possible drowning.

According to WCRS, around 1:15 a.m. on Saturday, rescue personnel recovered the body of a 39-year-old man in “approximately 40 feet of water.”

The Wayne County Coroner told FOX 56 that the man has been identified as Jason Bradley of the Indianapolis area. His remains have been sent to Frankfort for an autopsy.

According to a press release, Bradley worked for the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts told FOX59 and CBS4 that he was a member of the team’s flight department at Indianapolis International Airport.

The Colts released the following statement on Bradley’s passing:

“The Indianapolis Colts are heartbroken after losing our colleague and friend Jason Bradley in a tragic accident this past weekend.  He was loved and admired by so many inside and outside our organization, and we all will miss him terribly. Our prayers go out to Jason’s loved ones and friends with the hope of comforting them during this difficult time.”

An investigation into the drowning remains ongoing.
