Half of all reported kidnappings in the United States involve family members. These types of abductions are usually carried out by parents, with a significantly higher proportion involving female culprits compared to other kidnapping crimes.
Children under six years old are most often the targets of family abductions , which frequently occur during heated divorce or child custody disputes. Family abduction presents unique challenges for law enforcement, as the child may not want to leave the abductor, and other family members may assist in hiding and aiding the abducting parent, according to the Child Crime Prevention and Safety Center .
Frankie, Queen, and King have disappeared from Indianapolis, last seen on July 4 at 12:36 p.m. The kids are thought to be in severe danger and might need medical help. If you have any information about their location, please contact IMPD at 317-327-6541 or dial 911.
