Here’s What’s New at This Year’s Indiana State Fair

INDIANAPOLIS- -The Indiana State Fair will have things like rides, duck races, diving dogs and much more in 2024.

Almost all of these are free with paid fair admission. Here are some of the new attractions this year:

-State Fair Splash Pad

-Gold & Glory 100th Anniversary – August 2nd

-Celebrating the Beatles – August 3rd

-Illuminate! Outdoor Lantern Exhibit (outdoor lantern display with 14+ oversized structures with lighting)

-Outdoor Movie Theatre

-Momma Town Live Birthing Center: This is where you can meet baby chicks, piglets, and learn about animal parenting

-Great American Duck Race

-Pogo Fred

-Chris Lantz of Extreme Sculpting

-Artscape! Where Imagination Grows Exhibit (immersive exhibit curated by Newfields)

– DockDogs presented by T-Mobile: The “world’s premier canine aquatics competition” comes to Celebration Park for a series of events, including “big air wave,” “extreme vertical” and “speed retrieve.”

– 406 FMX High Air Tour: This attraction runs at designated times from Aug. 9 through Aug. 11 and costs $10 per ticket. You’ll find some of the top riders in the world performing stunts and tricks at the Hoosier Lottery Grandstand.

-Baby Animal Feeding Adventure: This is where you can feed young animals at Goat Mountain.

– Lore & Tall Tales at the Indiana History Train: At this immersive Indiana History Train exhibit, you’ll learn about “the supernatural history of houses & buildings, bridges & railways, parks & cemeteries” across the state–along with some “seemingly impossible creatures” that lurk about!

The State Fair runs from August 2nd through August 18th and will be closed on Mondays.
