Cabinet manufacturer Fabuwood used data from WeatherSpark to find the most perfect evening of summer for al fresco dining in each state.
Citing 75 degrees as the ideal evening temperature for dining, the study sought the days least likely to produce rain in each state when the temperature was also perfect.

What is alfresco dining?
Alfresco means outdoors and is commonly used as an adjective to describe a picnic or barbecue that you eat outdoors in fine weather, according to vocabulary.com. It is also acceptable to spell the word in its native Italian, al fresco — which means "in the fresh air."

The results from fabuwood.com expect Indiana temperatures to hover around 76 degrees with an 18.5% chance of rain on Wednesday, July 24, 2024.

The weatherman doesn't exactly agree with Fabuwood's generalized data. Here's the weather forecast from the National Weather Service in Indianapolis for Wednesday, July 24:
- Wednesday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 86. Calm wind becoming west southwest 5 to 8 mph in the morning. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
- Wednesday night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a low around 65. West wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening.
