Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark was back on the hardwood following a trip to Mexico during the WNBA's league-mandated 2024 Paris Olympics break. In the Fever's practice on Tuesday, Clark debuted an unreleased pair of Kobe 5's Potro PE's, which sparked an interesting comment from Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton.

Clark was wearing yellow and black Kobe's with a gold Nike logo, which she mentioned was the "Best of both worlds" since it represents Iowa and Indiana.

The Indiana Fever posted Clark describing her player-exclusive shoes, and Haliburton responded, requesting a pair of the shoes from the 22-year-old star.

"Send me a 14 plz I'm begging, Caitlin Clark," Haliburton said.

Clark then replied to the NBA star, hinting that an even better product will be released.

"Tyrese Haliburton, hahaha I got you," Clark said. "Even better ones on the way."

While it's unknown if Haliburton will receive one of Clark's newest kicks, she believes there's something big in store.

Clark signed an eight-year $28 million deal with Nike in April, so the rookie should have unlimited access to unreleased designs. The first-year star's deal with Nike includes a signature shoe, but those have yet to be released.

She's won a few never-before-seen Kobe's throughout the season, like her "WNBA All-Star" Kobe 6's, which the rookie pulled out in the 2024 WNBA All-Star game.

Clark's shoe game has been at the top of the class in the WNBA, but she's also proven that her talent is up there with just about any player as well.

The rookie is averaging 17.1 points and 8.2 assists per game, leading the league in assists per game.

She'll have an opportunity to showcase a new pair of shoes on August 16 when the Fever play the Phoenix Mercury at 7:30 p.m. ET.
